The Brief

A site that looks as engineered as the hardware.

Verzon Engineering design and manufacture UAV launch systems and mission-critical hardware in Great Britain, for operators who can't afford anything to fail in the field. They were a young company with a serious product, selling to engineers and procurement teams who read specifications for a living. The site had to look as engineered as the hardware, get the technical detail across fast, and make it easy to ask for a datasheet or a demo. I built it around a dark, precise visual language, with field footage up front, mono type and numbered sections that read like a spec sheet, and one sharp yellow used for the things that matter.

The Challenge

Verzon sell to people who read specifications for a living.

Engineers and procurement teams don't respond to vague claims, and a young company has to earn its credibility quickly. The site needed to show that Verzon are serious, get the hard numbers across at a glance, and make the next step, a datasheet or a demo, obvious.

The Approach

The design borrows from the world the product lives in.

Field footage leads, so the first thing you see is the hardware working rather than a stock photo. Mono type, numbered sections and tight grids give every page the feel of a technical document, and the key figures, like a launch in under 52 seconds, are set big enough to land on their own.

The palette stays almost entirely black and white, with one sharp yellow saved for calls to action and the details that matter, so nothing competes with the engineering.

The Result

A site that feels as precise as the products it sells.

An engineer can scan the capability, check the numbers and request a datasheet in a couple of minutes, and the brand comes across as established and serious from the very first frame.
