I worked closely with For Sure Studio to design and build a bold new site for SLR, global leaders in environmental and advisory solutions. Using modern Jamstack tools of 11ty, Netlify, and Sanity CMS, I crafted a performant, secure, and scalable platform that supports seamless content updates. Visually, the site embodies SLR’s sustainability mission through a distinctive colour palette and clear, structured layouts. The result is a polished digital experience that reflects their technical expertise and empowers their brand with long-term flexibility.
The Challenge
SLR are global leaders in environmental and advisory solutions, and scale is the thing that shapes a project like this.
A large international consultancy generates a constant stream of content across services, sectors, regions and expertise. A site that works well at launch and then becomes unmanageable eighteen months later is a common and expensive outcome, and it usually comes down to decisions made early about how content is structured.
There was a credibility dimension too. When a business advises other organisations on sustainability, the website is part of the argument. It needed to look like the work of people who take the subject seriously, without leaning on the visual clichés the sector is full of.
The Approach
I worked closely with For Sure Studio on this one, taking their design direction through to a build that could carry it at scale.
The stack is 11ty, Netlify and Sanity CMS. Sanity is the important part here, because it lets content be modelled properly rather than pasted into pages. A structured content model is what keeps a site like this coherent as it grows, and it means the team can publish without breaking the design.
Visually, the sustainability mission comes through in a distinctive colour palette and clear, structured layouts, which suits an audience reading for substance rather than browsing.
The Result
A performant, secure and scalable platform that supports content updates without friction.
It reflects SLR's technical expertise and, more usefully, it gives them long-term flexibility. The site can grow with the business rather than needing to be rebuilt every time the offer expands.
