Minerva Design handcraft bespoke kitchens in their Herefordshire workshops, so the site needed to feel as crafted as the cabinetry itself. With seven kitchen collections, a body of featured projects and a clear path from inspiration to brochure, showroom and enquiry, the focus was on showing the work and making it easy to explore. I built a structure that lets people move from broad collections into individual designs and real installed projects without friction, with generous, gallery-led imagery that puts the craftsmanship front and centre. Paint palettes, process and product detail all sit within a calm, considered layout that mirrors the brand. The build is fast and performs cleanly across every device, with the kind of restrained, tactile design that lets the kitchens speak for themselves.
The Challenge
Minerva handcraft bespoke kitchens in their Herefordshire workshops. When the product is that tactile, a website is working at a real disadvantage, because nobody can run their hand along a cabinet door through a screen.
There was a structural problem too. Seven kitchen collections, a body of featured projects, paint palettes, process and product detail is a lot of material, and it needed to hold together rather than turn into a maze.
The path also mattered. A bespoke kitchen is a considered, high value purchase that nobody makes in one sitting. The site had to carry someone from first inspiration through to requesting a brochure, booking a showroom visit, or making an enquiry, without ever making them feel rushed.
The Approach
Imagery does the heavy lifting. The layout is generous and gallery led, so the craftsmanship is what you notice first and the design stays out of its way.
For structure, I built a route that lets people move from broad collections into individual designs and then into real installed projects without friction. That progression matters, because seeing a kitchen in someone's actual home is far more persuasive than seeing it styled in isolation.
Paint palettes, process and product detail all sit within a calm, considered layout that mirrors how the brand works. The build is fast and performs cleanly across every device, which is not a given when a site is this image heavy.
The Result
A restrained, tactile site that lets the kitchens speak for themselves.
The depth is all there for anyone who wants it, but nobody has to wade through it to get to the point. Someone can browse a collection, see it installed, and know exactly how to take the next step.
