Branding

A Brand That Works Everywhere

A brand is more than a logo. It's the colours, type, tone and small details that make people recognise you and trust you.

Because I also design and build websites, I design brands that hold up on screen first: at small sizes, on dark backgrounds, on a phone in bright sunlight. Whether you're starting from scratch or tidying up what you've got, we'll make something you're proud to put your name on.

  • Bespoke Brand Identity

Logo, colour palette, typography and supporting graphics, designed around your business and the people you want to reach. Nothing starts from a template.

  • Strategy & Positioning

Before any design, we work out what makes you different, who you're talking to and how you should sound. It gives every design decision something to point back to.

  • Logo Design & Variations

A primary logo plus the versions you'll actually need: stacked, icon-only, light and dark. Each one is tested at small sizes so it never turns into a blur.

  • Brand Guidelines

A clear, practical guide to logo use, colour, type and tone of voice, so the brand stays consistent long after the project ends, whoever is doing the design.

How I Work

A straightforward four-step process from brief to launch. Most projects take 8 to 12 weeks.

  1. 01 ~1 week

    Discovery & Brief

A conversation about your goals, audience, and timeline. I put together a clear proposal, so there's no guesswork.

  2. 02 ~4-6 weeks

    Design

Wireframes then full visual design in Figma, with two rounds of feedback before anything is signed off.

  3. 03 ~2-4 weeks

    Build

Clean, performant code that's fast, accessible and tested. CMS and integrations set up and ready to go.

  4. 04 ~1 week

    Launch & Handover

Thorough QA, go-live on your schedule, full documentation, and 30 days of post-launch support.

Branding Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What does a branding project include?

Usually discovery, positioning, logo design, a colour palette, typography, supporting visual elements and practical brand guidelines. The exact mix depends on where you're starting from.

  • How much does branding cost?

Every branding project is quoted on its own, depending on whether you need a full identity or a refresh. Tell me what you've got and I'll come back with a fixed quote.

  • Can you refresh an existing brand?

Yes. A refresh keeps the parts of your identity that still work and improves clarity, consistency and how the brand looks across digital channels.

  • Do you provide logo variations?

Yes. You'll get the versions you'll actually use, such as primary, stacked, icon-only, light and dark, each tested at small sizes.

  • Will I get brand guidelines?

Yes. Guidelines cover logo use, spacing, colour, typography, imagery and tone, so the brand stays consistent after the project.

  • Can branding be part of a website project?

Yes, and it often works best that way. If your current identity is holding the website back, doing both together means the brand and the site are designed for each other.
